A great start for the 40th Chess Olympiad, organized by F.I.D.E (world chess federation).This year the olypiad is at Istambul and the conditions at the hall are amazing.<\/span><\/p>\n

A record breaking 158 teams compete in the Open Section, while the Women Section has 124 teams participating. The game is played in 10 rounds and it started on 28 August, there are lots of high rating players and chess legends there.Today is the 3rd round and the results will be on the official site you can watch live games or see the results at the end.<\/span><\/p>\n

Woderfull start at the first round for the macedonian team at the Olympiad,they have won \u00a0against Macau with \u00a04\/4 points.In the second round they scored 1.5\/4 points against Hungary.<\/p>\n

The Macedonian team is represented by Georgiev Vladimir(pic.1) (2566 rating ),Nedev Trajko(pic.2) (2494 rating),Bogdanovski Vlatko(pic.3) (2448 rating), Pancevski Filip(pic.4)(2461 rating) and Kizov Atanas(pic.5) (2418 rating).Today is the 3 round and they are playing with Iraq and we are expecting good performance and quality game by both sides.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
